You haven’t put any stamens around the centre
That’s right. I didn’t add stamens because I wanted to make a closed peony. However, if you prefer an open flower, you can add some. Personally, I like to make them from the string, but store bought stamens work great as well.
Beautiful. As a side note...your background music is too distracting for an instructional video. Something softer and more calming would be better.

Да, это очень хороший и простой способ сделать стебель. Я в основном так делаю стебли для большинства цветов, но для одуванчика мне очень хотелось применить другую технику.
Cant we stick all the petals like thr small ones i mean without wire ?
Wire helps better adjust the petals around the center and make a desired shape. It is much easier to attach petals with wire. You can try to make the petals without the wire, but, most likely, you will need to cut more of larger petals to create a big open flower.

Excellent job!! Does the outside get hard? Are you supposed to remove the outside to cut the cake?
After a day this decor will dry a little bit, but still be easy to cut with a knife. If it dries pretty hard, you can remove it before cutting the cake as well. It’s a good idea! I don’t recommend people to eat black or red fondant anyway - it has too much food coloring. For this particular cake it’s not necessary to let this piece dry - it’s my habit to make difficult pieces ahead of time to make sure I have everything prepared on time without stress by the time of the event :)

Hello! Absolutely! For this flower any thick wire will work well.
I understood when you brushed your petals with water an gleciren its took shape right❤
The petal curls because of the moisture. You can use just water (glycerin makes the petals more pliable).

Can I use glycerin from pharmacy
Glycerin from pharmacy is not safe to eat, but wafer paper flowers are considered to be just a decor, not for consumption. Glycerin from the pharmacy works great for wafer paper.

Sure! You can use just water. It will just take more time to dry.

You can make just vertical foldings. The pattern will be different, but very beautiful as well.
How long does it last?
Wafer paper flowers can be stored for years :) I still have flowers made a few years ago as a home decor and they still look great.

It is wafer paper glue. To make it mix equal parts of wafer paper and water, mix well and microwave for a little bit or mix wafer paper with boiling hot water.

Добрый день! Я делаю несколько цветов за один раз и храню вырезанные заранее кружочки в зип-пакетах; поэтому, к сожалению, не могу сказать, сколько листов необходимо для одного цветочка. Хранятся цветы очень долго. У меня до сих пор стоит этот цветочек, который я сделала несколько лет назад :) Я цветы храню в закрытой коробке или просто втыкаю ножкой в пенопласт (если тортик забирают скоро; чтобы он не собирал пыль).
